For this one, three players brought me in personally to cover the FCN vs. Kornburg game — which meant the pressure to deliver was different from a standard assignment. Over 110 images later, plus 13 instant polaroid prints handed out at the final whistle and a short-form piece built around them, the game turned into more than just a match. It became content, memories, and proof of what personal coverage can look like.
